Connector requirements should be specified when the slip ring needs to interface with existing equipment or a defined wiring system. Provide the connector type, quantity, installation position, and required pin or wiring configuration.
If the equipment already uses a specific connector, its model, drawing, or photo can help clarify the interface requirements. For pancake or separated slip rings used for signal or communication transmission, connector specifications should be evaluated together with the transmission requirements.
The connector arrangement may also affect the available installation space and cable routing. The final connector configuration should be confirmed according to the slip ring design and the customer's equipment interface.
