Rotational speed is an important factor when selecting a pancake or separated slip ring. When requesting a slip ring, provide the actual operating RPM and indicate whether the equipment rotates continuously or intermittently.
Speed requirements should be evaluated together with the electrical load, mechanical structure, transmission requirements, and operating environment. Different applications may have different operating conditions.
For high-speed or demanding operating conditions, the actual parameters should be compared with the selected product specifications or submitted for technical evaluation. The applicable maximum speed should be confirmed according to the specific product configuration.
