The required installation space depends on the slip ring design type (e.g., through-bore, pancake, or capsule) and your equipment's mechanical layout.
Beyond the central bore diameter, key dimensions include outer diameter, axial height, mounting flange profile, cable outlet direction, and clearance for surrounding moving parts. Adequate space must also be reserved for cable bend radii, terminal wiring, and routine maintenance.
